¿What is the Mamaestra de Español Program?

It is an Early Bilingual Stimulation that creates child’s experiences and interactions with mom and it works as an “Outside Resource Families” method for raising bilingual kids. This daily life-based intensive immersion language is mostly developed for families where none of the parents or caregivers speaks the target language, thus they rely exclusively on the use of outside resources like us to provide target language input for their kids. In some families, the parent(s) may know some of the language, but not enough to be a consistent source of input in that language.

Mamaestra brings a hands-on approach that stimulates every part of a child’s and mom's brain. Through our curriculum designed that starts from zero/zero, we work on the different skills like: motor, linguistic, social, music and creative skills, and our native-speaking teachers from the Middle of the World (Ecuador) incorporate fun activities into each class.

We will ensure that our students develop a love for learning foreign languages and never lose interest in the language.

This book has 5o encounters with many friendly, loving, caring and tenderness dialogues in Spanish to help moms to speak while the daily routines are happening. This displays small and sweet dialogues, daily phrases, lullabies, etc

Mamaestra II + Toybook

This book introduces words in activities to develop fine motor skills in Spanish. This is collection of 20 lessons with 100 words to build up vocabulary to prepare the kid to recognize words. Additionally, there is the toybook to help mom and kid to have fun while they are learning.

Our Philosophy and our Rule

WITH REPETITION: Practice, practice to master.

This method works even for adult students even when children are little. They need daily basis practice through repetition and everyday routines to create neurological connections. Start with your daily routines to learn basic phrases and vocabulary that you say daily to your child.

LEARN TOGETHER: Mom and baby

A close relative (mamaestra) is the only one who can put the passion in the work. When it comes to kids, one-to-one interaction in a quality of time is the best option. Please pay attention to the voice, infants tend to pay more attention and respond more eagerly to baby talk than to normal adult conversation.

MAKE IT PERSONAL

Whether you’re fluent in Spanish or you’re just starting out, Mamaestra de Español /Spanish momteacher was designed to learn from zero with functional Spanish. Don’t worry about your R´s we have other material and a Spanish coach to help you. Also, don’t worry about results after the first month. Remember 80% of their brain’s physical development happens during their first 3 years. As their brain gets bigger, it also forms the connections it needs to think, learn, and process information. These connections, called synapses, form at a super-fast rate, about 700 per second in the first few years. Speaking to your baby fires up those important synapses in the part of their brain that handles language. The more words they hear, the stronger those mental connections get. That process can strengthen your child’s future language skills and their overall ability to learn.

That’s why each lesson from the toybook focused on 20 most important topics that kids experience in real life, from mealtime to playtime and the school.
