Hi, I'm CeGuerrero

I'm The Author of these book series.

I am a founder, director and teacher of Middle of the World Spanish School. My experience teaching Spanish spans early childhood, elementary education, school and high school, as well as adults (university, PhDs and other professionals). This year I have developed a set of books for teaching Spanish from baby ages to adults. In conjunction, I have created a program called @Retobilingüismo with three series: 1. Spanish Mom-Teachers/Mamaestra de español(preschoolers); 2. Galapaguitos (elementary) ; and, 3. Retos (high school).

Professionally, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics, specializing in teaching languages, Spanish. I also hold an MBA from Ecuador, MDP/CDP, Master in Development Practice from United States. I am a Therapist and a Team Coach. My passion is teaching which is linked with my life mission. I teach at any level and within my professional background from a language, personal/emotional development, sustainable development, etc.

Some years ago, I was an Au-Pair for two years and my families always requested me to teach the kids some Spanish as I was a linguist. I was very successful with my kids, then I opened my own school in Chicago but for adults. Return to my country and I opened a school online. Two years ago, my student asked me to help her to teach the language to her niece. After seeing a lot of fun, results in this adventure. This inspired and I started creating a program for moms who would like to have the kid to become bilingual.

As native, Spanish speaker and as a professional I share an interest in raising bilingual kids for many reasons, but it was hard to find the right guidance and products. We knew many families want to raise their kids to speak Spanish and English, it had to be easier and fun. I came out with the idea of MomTeacher – Mamaestra. I knew that if I help parents, they are going to be successful in raising bilingual kids, it had to be easier but also they can learn together. That’s why, the Mamaestra was built for families learning Spanish together. I want to bridge the gap between the language fluency of a bilingual child and the language fluency required to read a book or travel to Latin America.
